At SBL headquarters in Sudbury, Massachusetts,we conduct research directed at
improving filter performance. Some primary goals are increased flow rate,
highly efficient bacteria kill rate, and lower cost. The SBL facility includes
a water analysis lab, filter production area, demonstration room, and offices.
Each filter contains about 6¢ worth of colloidal silver. The silver never wears out, and continues to suffocate bacteria indefinitely through an enzyme reaction.
